We made it back from Fargo just fine and it was a very pleasant trip.  I checked on Tex and Marie this morning and she said they are doing just fine.  He has to be fed through an IV 18 hours each day that goes directly into his stomach.   Marie is going to have her hands full taking care of him so please pray for her.   On the way to Fargo we stopped in Jamestown at the National Buffalo Ranch and I saw a Live White Buffalo.  It was too far away to get a picture.  Then on the way home within 30 miles from home in a 15 mile stretch we saw 38 deer!!  From the fawns all the way up to the bucks......so all you Deer hunters better head up this way...deer season has just opened up in North Dakota!!!!

Thanks for all your prayers while we traveled to and from Fargo.        Sis. Sheri

Tired.  Really, really tired.  We've had a full day working on the property and off of it too.  The sanctuary is painted white, top to bottom.  What a difference it has made.  We picked up some pews from Souls For Christ, we are very much thankful for that!  We ate at Taco John's in Fort Yates, the only place I know of where you can get a taco and tater tots.

I'd type more, but my fingers are worn out from scrubbing toilets.  I'll upload more photos tomorrow morning.

PS:  We have the webcams working one way.  A big thanks to Jill for helping us test them.

Greetings from Cannon Ball, North Dakota!  We arrived this afternoon around 3 PM and went straight to work.  We would appreciate your prayers; the property is in need of cleanup to be useable for the ministry.  We have lots to do, but that's why we're here.  We spent most of the afternoon getting the water running and cleaning up the church building.  We drove up to Bismark for supplies and supper.  Sheri and Doyle have been cleaning up the parsonage and will be sleeping in it tonight.  As soon as I (Kevin) sign off, I'll be joing Lynn and Billy in the church van for the night.  I'm not sure we're eveyone else is bedding down.

The DSL service is not performing at the speed it is supposed to be (groan, people at home will know how bad this aggravates me).  I'll be spending a good portion of tomorrow trying to get that fixed while most of the other men are painting and fixing things up.  Because of the speed issues, I will not be able to upload any new photos tonight.  You'll have to trust me when I say that it is gorgeous up here... absolutely gorgeous.

I've met a few of the residents here on the reservation.  They were very curteous and seemed very nice.  We (the team) look forward to meeting more of them as the week progresses.

Hi Everyone!  We had a great day today.  From 10 PM Sunday night until 7-ish PM Monday night, we covered 1300 miles!  I (Kevin) ate just about anything I could get my hands on, Gary took a wrong turn, Lynn tried to take a nap, Doyle drove the whole trip, Hobert pumped a lot of gasoline, Billy ate a nice looking steak, Ted told some great stories, Pastor Rick kept some of us from sleeping, and Sheri walked the dog.

To see photos from today's trip, check out Doye & Sheri's Picasa Website.

We have stopped in Aberdeen for the night and have been blessed with a motel that has wireless internet:

The plan is to get up early and arrive in Cannon Ball before noon.  Please continue to remember us in your prayers.  The easy part is over; the fun stuff begins tomorrow :-)

Doyle and Sheri will be leaving for Cannon Ball, ND this Sunday evening (9/7).  A team of men from NLBC will accompany them to help get them up and running.
