Saturday evening and Sunday we had a Blizzard come through.   We got about a foot of new snow and our drifts have now increased in size!!!   Due to the weather we had no services.   Bro. Deason was filling in for Doyle but he was unable to get here and I sure could not get the Van out of the driveway.

Doyle was sick the whole time he was in TN/GA and went to the Dr. on Friday.  But he still headed home late Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday he got as far as Sioux Falls, SD and was feeling really bad by then so he stopped and spent the night there.  Even if he had not felt bad he would have had to stop anyway because Interstate 29 was shut down due to the weather.  Around noon or so today they began opening it back up but the roads are still slick and icy in spots.   Please pray he will make it home safely.

Meanwhile back here at home, we have done fine without him.  School was out on Friday for the younger ones and then today is a holiday so they are all at home.   But for the most part, they have been really good for me.

We are excited about what the Lord is going to do here in Cannon Ball this year.  Spring is hopefully just around the corner so we can begin preparing a place for Keith and Jennifer to live.

Staying in and keeping warm and safe,   Sis. Sheri

While I was teaching class Sunday evening I ask the kids to think of words(or the name of a song) for all the letters in the word "Valentine" that described Jesus.  I was surprised that they came up with something for each letter!!!    They have also all learned to recite John 3:16....even the little ones try to say it.   One of the 11 yr.  boys that we have been praying about for a long time has once again started to come visit more often and seems to be bonding more with Doyle.  This is such a crutial age for the kids here....seems like they begin to stray away beginning 12 or so.   Please pray for this young boy.

This is a sad couple days for me because very early Wednesday morning Doyle will be leaving to take Liberty home.  She has been with us since the first of January and I sure am going to miss her....but I know her Mom, Dad, sister and brother are ready for her to be back at home.  Please pray for traveling safety for them as they make the long drive and also pray for me as I am at home with the 7 children..

Sunday morning we had a good attendance (32) with alot of my regular kids not here.  The adult crowd just about outnumbered the kids on Sunday night...we had about 20 total.   We're so happy that the adult crowd is growing and we now have 3 men that are attending regular!!!!

The snow has begun to melt reminding us of what comes next.....MUD!!!   With all the snow in our yard once the vehicles begin coming in and out I am sure we will have one big "Mud Pit".    Just one of those "Blessings" reminding us that spring is on it's way!!!!!

Well....gotta run...it's almost time to get the kids all ready for bed and then have some alone time with Liberty!!!

Praising the Lord in Cannon Ball,      Sis. Sheri
