Sunday was a very cold day and it snowed all day giving us another round of fresh snow.  But the Lord was good and we had an attendance of 33.  Due to the snow and extreme cold temperatures there was no evening service.

We have been praying since we arrived for the Lord to send another couple and I did mention in another blog that someone was coming.  Well...the Lord answered our prayer in a wonderful way.....the couple coming is our son Keith, his wife Jennifer and the 2 girls, Paige (6 yrs.) and Kaitlyn who will be 1 on March 2nd.   We are soooo excited.  Keith has been praying about this for a long time and we are so glad the Lord is sending them to help us.   They are planning on moving in Spring/early summer.  We will definately need some work crews to help us prepare living quarters for them.

Last week the Dr. in Ft. Yates finally referred Charlize to a Dermatologist for her skin problems.  I took her to see him on Friday and it seems that she has a severe case of Eczema.  He prescribed some oral meds and a skin med and we are already seeing improvements!!!  She has really suffered with this and is a much happier little girl now that she's feeling better.  THANK the Lord for the wisdom he gives to Physicians!!!   Thanks for those of you who have prayed for her.

Keeping warm in below zero temps.........Sis. Sheri

It was so good to be able to run the Van this morning and I was so happy to see most of the kids back.  I had the van loaded with 22 (including myself)!!!!  Doyle picked up 5 adults in the car and Ms. Angie brought 2 with her...the adult attendance Sunday was 16!!!!   We had a total of 39 in the morning service.  Sunday evening there were 20 in attendance!!   Our adult crowd included a new younger couple along with another new man!!!   PRAISE the Lord that our adult crowd is growing!!!!

We are excited and looking forward to 2011 and what the Lord has in store for Cannon Ball and the surrounding area!!!  There are several changes we would like to see take place....we need a building to have Fellowships/Youth Activities in.  Right now we have to use my living room which makes it VERY hard!!!!   We could either build something or add a sanctuary to the front of our exisiting building and use the back for other things.  We will also need some work crews in early/mid April to help prepare the yellow mobile home for the couple that is coming to help us!!!!  It needs 2 porches and some remodeling inside.  Please help us pray about this and ask the Lord if he would allow you to come to help with all of this.

Thank You so much for all your prayers and support.

Enjoying our 4+ feet of snow,    Sis. Sheri

The 7 kids and I had a long 3 week Christmas Vacation to TN and GA.  I was able to spend the Holidays with my children and their families and had a wonderful time!!!!   Families from Lupton Drive Baptist Church in Chattanooga, New Life Baptist Church in Dalton, and Philippi Baptist in Cleveland kept the Foster Children most of the time.  They entertained them with trips to the Discovery Museum, Rock City, Delta Queen Riverboat and some of them saw Pigs upclose for the 1st time.  Not only were they entertained there were several Christmas Parties where they were showered with gifts!!! THANK YOU Lupton Drive, New Life and Philippi families for making this trip something the kids will never forget.

Doyle is sure happy to have us all back home.  We are trying to get settled down and it was "Back to School" for everyone but Lexie.  While we were gone, the Grandmother that had custody of Junior and Lexie through CPS passed away....so I am not sure what will happen with those 2.  Pray that they will leave them with us.  Their Great-Grandma was here for Bible Study last night and was able to visit with them for a few minutes.  She is happy that CPS chose our home to place them in.

I was able to bring our 8 year old granddaughter, Liberty, home with me for about a month.  She came last year in March and spent about 3 weeks with us.  We LOVE it when any of our family comes.....especially the Grandchildren!!!!

We have about 4 feet of snow and the wind is blowing it everywhere today......more snow to come this weekend along with some extrememly low temperatures.  Gotta love North Dakota winters!!!!
