The Lord just keeps on blessing!!!   We had 44 in church this morning.....31 children and the rest were adults!!!  There was one new man that had never been before....he came and brought one of his sons with him...and then for the evening service he brought both of his sons!!!!   Pray that they will continue to come.

Bro. Hobert Pankey and Bro. Casey King from our home church have been here this week.  They arrived on Wed. afternoon and have been helping Doyle get some things done in preparation for the cold weather ahead.  Bro. Casey preached in the morning service and did a very good job and the people enjoyed his message.  We sure have enjoyed having them here with us!!!

Please help us pray about the coming Christmas Holidays.  I want to go home for Christmas and take the Foster Children with me.  Just not sure how I will manage it because it is going to fairly expensive.   I have ask CPS for permission to bring the kids and there doesn't seem to be a problem there.  The kids would have to miss a few days of school but I don't think that will be a problem either.  It will be a wonderful opportunity for them to see places they have never seen and probably won't ever again get that chance.  It would also allow some of our supporting churches to meet the kids I talk about all the time!!!   They have been practicing songs they want to sing at the churches we would be able to visit!!!    So...please help us pray about this!!!!

I am EXCITED about what the Lord is doing here!!!  The past few weeks we've had many new children coming and some new adults!!!  I feel like the Lord has something great in store for Cannon Ball and the surrounding area.

The Lord blessed us with 30 present at this weeks service.  I had 19 kids by myself since the Deason's were not here.  It went OK but it's very didficult to teach that many with such a large age difference.  We have alot of new young kids, ages 4/6, coming now and they have not learned how to sit and listen which made it very hard to teach.  After the morning service one of the elderly ladies wanted to have a memorial dinner for her deceased sister....so around 1:30 she, her brother, sister and a few others came back and we all ate.  They had prepared an Indian Soup, FRY BREAD (YUM!!!!!) and a decorated cake.  It was nice to be able to sit and fellowship.

Well....here it is the middle of September and on Friday evening we had snow....YES..SNOW!!!  There was no accumulation but it was defianately Big, white snowflakes.    Wondering  if this means we're going to have a long white winter!!!!  Our days/night are definately colder and we have had to start heating the house/church.

This week 2 men from our home church will be arriving.  We're very excited!!  LOVE it when we have company...especially from our home church!!!  They will be helping Doyle get a few things done in preparation for the winter months.

We have a busy week ahead of us so please keep us in your prayers.

Busy for the Lord,      Sis. Sheri

We just got back from CPR training and made it home just as the bus pulled in bringing Zack and Lily home!!  That's how my whole week has been...very busy...Seems like everything I do now is hurry, hurry, hurry!!!  I'd forgotten what is was like to have kids in school!!!!  But....I am very glad they are all in school now cause it gives me about 5 1/2 hrs. each day to get things done here at home.

This past Sunday we once again had a very good attendance.....33 total!!   The Lord is blessing and we are so thankful!!  This week Doyle visited a home and the man and wife both said they would be here Sunday.  They used to go to the little church North of us...but the church is not there anymore.   Pray that they will come.  They have about 4 children (I think).  Some of their relatives already come

We've had much cooler nights and yesterday was cold an rainy.  It's time to make sure all the kids have winter coats, boots, hats, gloves, thick socks, ect.... I love the winter and the snow!!!!

Praising the Lord here in Cannon Ball..............Sis. Sheri

We have visitors from Cleveland, TN ....a long time friend and fellow minister.....Bro. Tip Sanders, his grandaughter (Katie) and another preacher, Bro. Billy Ricker from Dayton, TN.  They arrived Saturday evening and will be with us until Wed. morning.  Friday evening Bro. Parker Burgess surprised us with a visit and I am not sure how long he plans to be here.

This Sunday we had a VERY good attendance of 45.  I had 2 loads on the van with a total of 32 upstairs (including myself and Bro. & Sis. Deason).  I am sure glad they were here to teach the classes!!!   It was my 57th birthday so we had a dinner afterwards and then went back into the church for another service.   The Lord is sooo good to us and I can't Thank Him enough for all he has done and is doing here in Cannon Ball.

Today is a very cool rainy day.  Reminding us that winter is just around the corner!!!  Doyle will be busy the next few weeks making sure the trailers and church are ready for the cold weather.  We have had some leaks here in the trailer show up which will need to be fixed before cold weather.

The kids are still with us.  Friday Zack and Lily went with their parents to spend the night so they could celebrate Lily's 3rd birthday (the 9th).  Around 9:30pm the Mom called and said Zack and Lily were crying for us and wanted to come home.  Doyle got on the phone and as soon as Zack heard Doyles voice...he stopped crying.  Doyle talked to him and the Mom then got on the phone and said it really helped.  She said all Zack and Lily had talked about was Sheri and Pastor Hall!!!    The Mom said it made her feel bad that they cried for us....but at the same time made her Happy that they were in a home where they were loved and cared for.  On Saturday morning the first thing Zack and Lily wanted to do was call me...so I talked to both of them which made them happy.   We get very tired and frustrated at times with all the kids here....but the Lord keeps us going.  When one of them come up and hug us...all the frustration disappears.

We sure do appreciate all the clothes/toys that have been sent.  Thank You for loving and praying for us and the kids here in Cannon Ball.

Happy to be able to serve the Lord in North Dakota,    Sis. Sheri
