I wanted to wait and post Sunday's report later so I could let everyone know when Doyle arrived home.  He got here Monday afternoon and we thank everyone that prayed for his safe return.  EVERYONE was glad to see him back and our house is once again filled with kids.....3 of ones that were staying with me are back along with one of their cousins.   Yesterday it took Doyle most of the day to mow the yard which looked more like a hayfield!!!!  We thought we'd have to rake it also....but the Lord caused it to VERY windy and most of the grass he mowed blew right away.    It was so windy that at one point the wind actually blew Doyle's glasses right off his face!!!!    Monday evening there were some small funnel clouds in the area and when it was storming the wind blew so hard under the trailer that the Linoleum in our kitchen was actually bulking up!!!!   At that point we thought maybe we should go over to the church (although the rains were pounding and there was even hail in some areas)  but the storm calmed down so we stayed here.   I was VERY glad that Doyle was home!!!

This past Sunday our number was down to 17....there were ALOT of all-night parties for graduates which caused quite a few of the regulars to be out.   Sunday evening Angie and I went to Selfridge to the services with the Deason's.

I appreciate all the prayers on our behalf when Doyle was gone!!   He had a very good trip and was able to visit the majority of our supporting churches.  We love all of you and thank the Lord for everyone!!

Sunday was a beautiful day...sunny and a pleasant temperature...after all the rainy weather the past week we were all happy to see the Sunshine!  When I started the Van route it didn't look like we were going to pick up many children...but the Lord blessed and we picked up most of the usual plus a new little girl.  There was a total of 25 in services!!    Sunday evening I drove the van and 16 of us went to Bro. Deason's church in Selfridge to be in their evening service.  It's about a 45 minute drive and the kids were really good for the most part but I was thankful that Ms. Angie, along with her neice Burdie, were there to help me with them.

Yesterday morning I had a surprise.  The company that was contracted to plow the gardens for the Seniors on the Reservation showed up and plowed our garden spot....SO Doyle turning "60" does have it's benefits!!!!!  The kids that are staying with me were so excited and just had to go out and watch them plow the ground!!

Speaking of the kids....I am now down to the 2 boys.  After 2 weeks here, the girls got tired of my House Rules and doing their chores...so they went back home to Grandma.  Right now the 2 boys seem very satisfied here...but we'll see how this week goes.  The weather is nicer and I'm not sure how long the oldest one will like not being free to to run around the community whenever and for how long he pleases.  I hope they stay because I would like for Doyle to be able to spend quality time with the older boy and teach him some things.

Thanking the Lord for His wonderful blessings!!       Sis. Sheri

Here it is...already Tuesday....and I am just writing my Sunday report.  I now have 4 children staying with me and they are keeping me VERY busy!!!!  Won't go into any detail but if you want to know more you can call and I'll be glad to share it with you.

Sunday we had 21 in the service.  Our Sunday number seems to be averaging between 20-25 each week which is good!!!  Once Doyle returns we are going to do some visiting and start picking up more on the van now that I have some help each week.  I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for this summer.

Marie had her surgery yesterday.  They removed a foot and a half of her colon and said everything went well.  She's in a lot of pain today but in good spirits.  We're thankful that the cancer was only in the one area.  Today is her birthday and when I called to wish her a Happy Birthday she was giving God the praise for the successful surgery.

I am Thankful that the Lord has allowed me the opportunity to help out in the situation with the family of 4 kids....But......Keep me in your prayers as I am being reminded daily of the Joys and some of the things that are not quite as joyful  about having children 24/7!!

Very seldom do I write about a specific need ....but here's one I want to share one with you.  I have been teaching the children here for almost 2 years now and have pretty much exhausted all my teaching supplies.  I have been looking at Betty Lukens Flannelgraph and am asking the Lord to supply the funds so I can purchase Betty Lukens Large Deluxe Bible Set.   This set includes everything I would need to teach 182 Bible stories...it has  600 flannelgraph figures, 3 mounted backgrounds that are 32x48 in size, 4 bright colored background overlays, a teachers manual, and also includes a 2 box filing system to keep the 600 figures in.   If I order it directly from Betty Lukens it would cost $359.95...but...I found 2 companies that both have it for $249.95 with free shipping.

So.....please pray and see if the Lord would have you supply this need.  Please feel free to call me at home: 701-854-3005/ my cell: 701-516-2844  or email me....I will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

When I went out to start the van this morning it was snowing!!!  It did not snow for long and did not lay....but it was big snow flakes.  Carol had to go home last week so Bro. & Sis. Deason came early enough so she could help me on the van.  There was a total of 23 here in the morning service.  Sis. Angie brought her sister, nephew and another lady.  They were all visiting from Williston, ND.    Sunday evening 11 of us gathered here at the house and were once again blessed to be able to watch the service at our home church in Dalton, Ga via webcam where Doyle was preaching.   The people here were sooo glad to see their Pastor and hear him preach!!   It was such a blessing to see their faces light up when they saw him.   We will ALL be glad when he gets home!!

Please remember Marie when you pray.  We found out this past week that she has Colin Cancer.  Tomorrow I am taking her to see the surgeon.  There were also 3 spots in her stomach and the surgeon will tell us whether or not those were cancer also.

Today it is VERY windy but sunny and a little warmer.  I am ready for some WARM weather so I can get my garden planted and some flowers out in the yard!!

Praising the Lord for His Saving Grace,       Sis. Sheri
