Friday I was able to pick up Angie (Natalie's 9 yr. old daughter that is under state custody) for a weekend visit with me.  She and I both enjoyed her visit very much and she was glad to be back in church with us.  We had a total of 24 Sunday morning in attendance even with some of the regular kids not here.

Ms. Angie has been without a car for the past couple weeks so I have been helping her out and "running around" with the elderly ladies since Doyle left.  It's been quite interesting and I have enjoyed it very much.  But...she got her car back Friday so she's on her own again.....and the past couple days I've missed their company!!

Doyle is in a mission conference in Calvert City, KY and enjoying his time there.    Pray for both of us during this time that we are apart.

We had a good day today with 23 in attendance.  The adults are enjoying Bro. Deason and I am enjoying having Christy's help upstairs.  Carol (the Teen from South Dakota) is a big help to Christy in the class of younger children.   This evening 10 of us went over to Selfridge to Bro. Deason's church.  Everyone enjoyed that.

Yesterday afternoon Sis. Angie and I went to one of the saddest funerals I have ever attended.  It was for the little 15 yr. old twin boy that drowned last Sunday afternoon.  The mother sure does need our prayers...so when you pray just lift up the name "Lila" in prayer.

The ladies and I are trying to plan something special for Mother's Day.....help us pray that it will all work out.  It will be something totally different than they've ever had before!!!!

Doyle is reporting home every day and is having good results at the churches he is visiting....and of course...he has enjoyed his time with our kids and grandchildren.  Pray that the Lord will continue to bless his travels and efforts to raise the funds for our new building.  We ALL miss him here and will be glad when it's time for him to come home to us.

Staying busy and Thanking the Lord every day that He called us to serve Him here in Cannon Ball,     Sis. Sheri

The Lord gave us another beautiful sunny day....a little cool but pretty and sunny!!!   I can't wait till it's warm everyday and we can get outside and plant a small garden!!!  Last summer I looked in the grocery stores for some good old "southern" vegetables like Okra and Squash and to my dismay could not find any.  So this year I am going to try to grow my own.   I haven't had a garden of my own in YEARS.....actually I've only had 1 in our 39 years of marraige....so wish me luck!!!

We had 24 in attendance yesterday morning!!!   Then last night I did not run the van because we decided while Doyle is gone it would be best not to in the evening since I would not have anyone here to help out.  But I did pick up Ms. Angie and she and I were able to go to Dalton, Georgia to my home church via webcam!!!  What a blessing and Ms. Angie was still talking about it today....she had already called her sister in upstate ND and told her all about how she experienced a church service through new technology.

Please pray for a family here in the village.  They have a set of twins (boy and girl) a little over a year old...and the little boy died yesterday afternoon.  Not sure  exactly what happened but heard he drowned in the bathtub.  It doesn't really matter how it happened..the family needs our prayers during this trying time!!!

It's colder and windy out today...suposed to have thunderstorms the next couple days.  The wind blew so hard during the night I thought this old trailer was gonna come apart and Bella paced back and forth through the trailer barking most of the night.  But the Lord is in control and is watching over us!!

Excited to be serving the Lord,       Sis. Sheri

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday with 32 in attendance.  The Children's choir sang and did a great job!!!  It is such a joy to see them so excited to be able to stand up there and sing for the Lord!!!  Even without a few of the regulars, we had 19 on the Van..what a blessing the Van is!!!   Easter 2009 we had much worse weather and "MUD" everywhere with NO VAN...I had to pick everyone up in my car making 3 trips that morning!!!  Ended up stuck in the mud at Ms. Angie's house and had to pulled out!!  So thankful the Lord gave us a beautiful day this year without the Mud to fight!!!

Saturday we met the Todd family in Gettysburg, SD and brought their 16 yr. old daughter, Carol, home with us.  She will be staying with me while Doyle is gone.

Doyle and Liberty left early this morningCry heading south.  Please pray for their safe arrival!!!  I sure am going to miss Liberty...enjoyed her visit with me so much!!!  Of couse...I will miss Doyle also...this is the first time in our 38 yrs. of marraige that we willl be apart for such a long time (atleast 2 months)....and during that 2 months we will have our 39th Anniversary and Doyle will have his 60th birthday!!!    Please keep us in your prayers during this time.

Also remember the services here while Doyle is away.  I am so thankful that there is someone that will be taking care of the services and someone to help me with the classes.  We were able to split the classes yesterday morning and it was WONDERFUL!!!!  I was able to teach the older class a good lesson on why Jesus Died and rose from the dead....and I know a couple of them are beginning to understand their need for salvation!!!

Please continue to pray that the Lord will send another couple/family to Cannon Ball.  There are things we'd like to do but need more help!!!

Praying.......Sis. Sheri
