Our attendance was back up this morning with 22 in both the morning and evening service.  After the morning service 1 of the ladies that rode the Van said she wanted to talk to us....so she stayed here along with her sister while I ran all the others home.  Bro. Vincent and Sis. Lilllian from Dulce, NM had surprised us and came in during the morning service.  When I got back from running the Van route, Doyle, Vincent and Lillian had talked with the 2 ladies and they had both gotten saved!!!   We are praising the Lord for this!!   Then....when we came over to the house there was a message on our cell phone that our oldest daughter, Elena, had gotten saved at our home church in Dalton!!  SO.....even tho we had a rough week here emotionally because of many things that happened....the Lord gave us not only a "Double" blessing...but a "Triple" Blessing!!!!    The ladies that got saved are Clarice's two sisters, Melinda and Maureen.  Please keep them in your prayers...like Clarice...they both have had a problem with alcohol and their family and friends will give them a battle.....but the Lord is able to help overcome it all.   We will help them as much as we can and as much as they will allow us to.  There are others in this family that need the Lord....pray for the Redstone family.

Please continue to pray that the Lord will send someone to help us.  It is so hard to try and teach a class with ages from 2-12!!  Last night there were 2 cousins in class (3 yr. olds) that I had to keep breaking up from fighting...they were hitting, taking each others crayons, tearing each others papers up...it was rough!!!  I don't feel like the others really got anything out of class!!!  It would be so good if someone else was here so the classes could be divided.  But the Lord knows and in His time He will send someone to help..until then....I will do the best I can and try to keep order and pray they learn something when there is turmoil.

Praising the Lord for His SAVING Grace,    Sis. Sheri

Our number was back to the upper teens with 16 in the morning service and 17 in the evening service.  It was a rather trying weekend with some sad, unexpected events that began EARLY Sunday morning soon after the break of day.    Around here you just never know what to expect on a Sunday morning.....the Devil is always on the rampage on Saturday nights and seems like this weekend he was working overtime!!  But as always,  the Lord saw us through it all and has worked some of the things out and today looks much brighter!!  Just please remember Clarice in prayer....she is having a really rough time right now... her husband has left her and gone back to South Dakota...and her family (sisters, mom, ect..) are trying to really drag her down.

Saturday we went to Harvey, ND and picked up some ACE desks, and other supplies.  It was a blessing and will save us alot of money in the long run if we are able to have a school next year.  But this year we will be able to use the items for Clarice and her 4 children she is home schooling.    Today she went and turned in the forms at the Public School and we are ordering what materials we have the funds for.  Please keep this a matter of prayer.  We were able to order enough ACE paces to get them through the first couple months and will need to raise money for the rest of the years work.  The Missionary that gave us all the desks has the Score Keys for alot of Paces....but not the ones we needed...but I think there is someone else that I can borrow those from.

So amid the turmoil of the weekend...the Lord still blessed ....and through our tears and heartbreak.....He comforted us and uplifted us in our time of need....just like He  promised!!!    Praise His Wonderful Name.............Sis. Sheri

This Sunday was a blessing as we had 29 in the morning service with 19 children and 10 in the adults service.  I was glad that Elena was still here to help me out!! There were a total of 24 in our evening service.  The weather has begun to cool down a little and I told Doyle last night that whether we are ready or not....Winter is probably just around the corner!!!

Monday we left to take Elena, James and Gabby to Minneapolis, Mn as they had a flight scheduled home on Tuesday afternoon.  Our last couple days with them were good and we were able to shop at a huge "Cabela's" store.  It is a famous Outdoorsman store and I (even tho I' m not an outdoors person) enjoyed it.   We have had company since the middle of May....and are now back at home and having to adjust to just the two of us again (3 if you count Bella!!).  So it's quiet here today and rather lonely.

The Lord is blessing as a Missionary in Harvey, ND is graciously donating some ACE desks, a score table and some score keys to us for our school room.  Clarice, her sister Melinda and possibly Janice (LeeAnn and DeRon's mother) are going to homeschool and bring their kids here to the church each day.  We are really excited about this as it will give us MORE time with them to teach them about the Lord and let them see what a change the Lord can make in a persons life.  It is so sad that a child going into the second grade can't even read and one going into the 5th grade works at a 2nd grade level!!  Most of the children here are way below their learning level and I hope and pray that the parents will see a big change in them in this coming year.  We are praying that next school year we will be able to have a small private school so others will be able to come.   Clarice has 4 children, Melinda has 1 and then Janice has 2 and of course...these Mothers will not be able to absorb the cost of the materials so we will be asking for some financial help....please be praying about this and asking if the Lord will have you to help.  It will cost around $150 per child for the whole year.  That's not much considering what our goals for these children.....our main goal is to have more time with them and help them spiritually AND academically.  This year the mothers will ALSO be coming every day with their children so we will have daily contact with the mothers along with the kids!!!!!

I will share more about the Home Schooling costs in the next few days on the website blog and also in our prayer letter.  I am still having computer/printer problems and hopefully will be able to solve that by the weekend so I can get our prayer letter out.   My patience has surely been tested with these computer problems!!!!!   Poor Kevin....I have bugged him unmercifully....what a blessing he is!!!

Still praising the Lord on the cool, wet prairie.........Sis. Sheri

Some of our regulars were back this week so we had 23 Sunday morning and then 16 Sunday night.  We thought one of the families that we had gained during VBS had moved away....but we saw them Sunday evening and they had only been out of town for a funeral....so we were happy about that.  They should be back this coming week and there are 4 or 5 of them that normally come.  The mother has said that she is going to start coming also.

We also want to Thank those who have come to the aid of Clarice and her family in their need for clothing.  The Lord will surely bless and we hope that others will pray about helping out also.   If you have children you know how expensive it can be to clothe just one child.....she has 4 to buy for along with herself and her husband.

The Lord has blessed us with some more company!!   A missionary, his wife and 2 teenage daughters arrived today and will be with us until Friday morning.  They are praying about God's will for their lives.....maybe the Lord will send them our way!!!

ALso.....there are 2 college students from Cleveland, TN that are praying about coming up to spend part of the winter months with us.   Help us pray about that.

Help me pray about our computer situation....apparently mine has "died".......so we now need a new one for the house.   I lost alot of information and some pictures because I did not listen to Kevin and do my back-ups!!!   So Kevin.....I will be needing your assistance REAL SOON!!!!

Serving the Lord on what was a very "HOT" prarie today   (we thought our A/C unit in the trailer had quit on us today which was one of the hottest days we've had in quite some time....but thanks to my son-in-law....it is now working!!!!).

I have a very urgent request for help!!!   Clarice, the lady that was just recently saved, and her family need our help.  Their house was being cleaned and sprayed for bugs so they had bagged up all their clothes. They had put all the bags of clothes in the basement.  At the same time they had hired a local to clean out the basement with instructions on what to throw away.   The man did not listen well and threw away ALL of their clothing.  The only thing they have left is what they were wearing.

This Family needs our help!!!!  Clarice's husband has really been friendlier  lately and even came down to the house this evening with his family and visited with us for about 2 hours.  We are praying for His salvation!!!    Following are the sizes of the kids...ANY thing you can send ASAP would be appreciated.  If you do not want to send clothing......monetary donations would be appreciated and I can take Clarice shopping.   I just know they need our help ASAP!!!!

Sorry I haven't reported on this past Sunday....but I left early Monday morning to go to Minneapolis with Rachelle and her family....they caught a flight home on Tuesday while our older daughter and her husband flew in on Tuesday.  So it was a sad day as I said goodbye to one family.....but a glad day as I greeted another one!!  Elena and her family will be here until the 18th of the month.

This past weekend was PowWow weekend in Cannon Ball so our number was down a little bit...but we still had 14 Sunday morning and then 16 Sunday night.  Then this evening we had 16 for our Bible Study which included 10 adults!!!  They seem to opening up by asking more questions and enjoying the Bible Study and services.  Just a little at a time...the Lord is working and we are patiently waiting and watching.

It's rainy and cool.....James and Elena are about to freeze after being in the Hot, southern Humid weather!!!  I'll take this cool weather anyday!!!!   Sis. Sheri
