What a beautiful Sunny Day the Lord gave us!! Still a little on the cold side with some wind, but the sun was shining and the snow began to melt. We had 11 in attendance for the morning service and 16 in the evening service. There was one new elderly lady in the evening service and she along with her daughter (Little Angie's mother) both wanted to start the Home Bible Studies so we gave them the first one!! Angies Mother, Natalie, has been coming on Sunday and said she really enjoys it...pray that she keeps coming.
Each day is a new experience and we never really know what to expect from these people. In the morning service we had a new experience that I really don't feel at the liberty to share the details with you......but Satan will use whatever means he can to destroy what little we have built so far....and he will use whoever he can...not matter what age they are. We have to remind ourselves to leave these situations in the Lord's hands and let Him take care of them...and He will!! Which is just what we did and the Lord did take care of it. I know Satan will try again and again because He doesn't want these people to change...this town is wicked and that's the way he wants it to stay.
This coming Sunday is Easter and the kids are getting very excited about singing. I have all the skirts to make this week along with the choir practicing twice during the week and then a full schedule on Saturday. Doyle is also scheduled to preach at an all day Fellowship Meeting for Missionaries in Fort Thompson, SD on Friday. We also have a family from Dulce, NM that will be here for Easter weekend with us. They are friends with Bro. Rome Wager. So it's going to be a full, busy week!!
Please continue to pray about our parking lot situation.....with the snow melting the mud only gets worse. My poor car!!!! Yesterday I actually had mud slung all the way on top of the car from where I had to get a "running" shot going in out in order NOT to get stuck!!! Of course the kids think it's great and the adults just hold their breathe hoping they won't have to get out and help push!!!! But...the Lord knows all about it and we're praising Him for EVERYTHING!!!!!
Happily serving the Lord whether snow, mud and even when we had no water (but sure praising the Lord He has answered that prayer!!!) Sis. Sheri!!!
