Our first Christmas here was definitely a "White Christmas". We had about 6-7 inches of new snow Monday night and Tuesday. And the wind wasn't blowing like it has when we've had sizable snows thus far...so it laid beautifully!!! But our first christmas was not without incident....our water lines froze up Monday and here it is Friday and we still have no water in the Parsonage. Once Doyle got them thawed out Tuesday evening they busted. He is working on them and hopefully we will have water some time today.
We did go to South Dakota for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (turned all the water at the Parsonage off). Had a wonderful time in Fort Thompson with the Doug Todd Family who are on their way to Alaska. Please pray for them and if you know of a church that is looking for a good missionary to support, we highly recommend this family (make sure they support us first!!). They are praying to be able to make the move to Alaska in May.
We also want to Thank all of you for the Christmas cards and gifts that were sent. The Lord was truly good to us this Christmas and so faithful to supply our needs and a few of my wants!!
There is another Weather Advisory out for this evening into tomorrow morning. More snow, high winds and drifts. Please pray that Doyle gets our water going!!
Will keep you posted. Sis. Sheri
