Doyle would like for you to help him pray for a Snow Blower......snow just keeps on coming and he's a little "old" for all that shoveling!!    With 6-8 more inches tonight we probably won't be able to get our car out of the driveway.  Anyway, help him pray about a snow blower.

Praise the Lord we finally have water that will run IN and OUT of the parsonage!!   The Lord is good.  There is a Winter Warning out for tonight and tomorrow that is suposed to bring 6-8 more inches of snow.  The wind isn't suposed to be blowing so hard so it shouldn't be blizzard conditions....just beautiful white snow!!   I love it but Doyle says he is already tired of it.....of course he's the one that has to get out and shovel it!!  At first Bella didn't like the snow but now she loves to get out in it and gets pretty frisky playing in it.

Thanking the Lord for ALL His blessings...   Sis. Sheri

Attendance was about normal today with 15 this morning and 13 tonight.   It was a little warmer today, got up to 30 degrees.  Now to some of you that may be cold....but to us it felt really good!!!!  Sun was shining and made the snow sparkle.  As some of you may already know, we now have water running into the house....but it won't run out!!   The water lines that were frozen finally thawed out yesterday afternoon...now the septic lines are clogged up.  The tank is not full because the church and parsonage are on the same septic tank and everything is OK at the church.  So I guess tomorrow Doyle will run a snake through our lines and see if he can unclog them.  If not...we'll have to call a plumber.  Thank the Lord for the showers at the church which we have been able to use!!!!

Please keep all this in your prayers and maybe tomorrow things will clear up and we can get back to normal.   We're still praising the Lord for His goodness to us and know that He is in control.

Love and Prayers,   Sis. Sheri

Our first Christmas here was definitely a "White Christmas".  We had about 6-7 inches of new snow Monday night and Tuesday.  And the wind wasn't blowing like it has when we've had sizable snows thus far...so it laid beautifully!!!   But our first christmas was not without incident....our water lines froze up Monday and here it is Friday and we still have no water in the Parsonage.  Once Doyle got them thawed out Tuesday evening they busted.  He is working on them and hopefully we will have water some time today.

We did go to South Dakota for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (turned all the water at the Parsonage off).  Had a wonderful time in Fort Thompson with the Doug Todd Family who are on their way to Alaska.  Please pray for them and if you know of a church that is looking for a good missionary to support, we highly recommend this family (make sure they support us first!!).  They are praying to be able to make the move to Alaska in May.

We also want to Thank all of you for the Christmas cards and gifts that were sent.  The Lord was truly good to us this Christmas and so faithful to supply our needs and a few of my wants!!

There is another Weather Advisory out for this evening into tomorrow morning.  More snow, high winds and drifts.  Please pray that Doyle gets our water going!!

Will keep you posted.            Sis. Sheri

The weather today is still VERY COLD...wind chills once again into the -40's!!   Snow drifts are atleast 3 feet high.   We were unable to have church this morning but did have it tonight.   This morning we received a VERY SPECIAl blessing from our home church.  They called us on our webcam and we were able to talk to them and not only that...to view the whole service!!   It was such a blessing.  Made us realize once again just how special they are to us!!

This evening the Lord really blessed and we had 13 adults and 19 children present for our service!!  A couple of the people that support us had sent some money so we we could give outl Treat Bags...so they all got bags with apples, tangerines, candy canes, nuts and some mini-milkyway bars.  Then I had made a CD of Christian music and gave each family a CD in their Christmas card.  Tuesday we're having a Christmas Pizza Party for the kids and will give them all a small present then.

So....it has been a full, exciting day and we are praising God for all his blessings!!   We'll be spending Christmas with another missionary family in South Dakota...so you'll have a wonderful Christmas and we'll talk to you soon.         Sis. Sheri

P.S.  I did take some pictures tonight and will post them under "New Life Baptist Mission Fellowships"

Today we have been in the middle of our 2nd blizzard!!  With approx. 5-6 inches of snow, temperature of -12 this morning with 35-45 miles a hour wind gusts giving us a wind chill of -40!!  I was hoping to be able to take some more pictures but it has just been toooo cold to do that.  The windows in the trailer are all frosted over so I couldn't even take pictures from inside the house.   We did cancel our services today due to the blizzard and dangerous wind chills.  A person would be frost bit in very few minutes!!     Tomorrow it is still supposed to be windy with a high of -8 in the day and -21 tomorrow night.   Tonights low is -19.     Praise the Lord for warm houses!!   But please pray about our furnace....it seems to want to work only "part-time".... (we do have a small back-up propane heater along with the 2 electric oil heaters)....but sure do pray that the furnace doesn't decided to quit on us for good!!!!      The Lord is good to us and I must say....even tho the blizzard is cold, snowy, windy...it is also a beautiful sight!!     Maybe tomorrow I will be able to get a few pictures of some of the snow drifts.

Have a wonderful evening..................Sis. Sheri

Last Thursday I scheduled a Bible Study for the ladies for noon and noone showed up.  Today I tried again but changed the time to 2pm because one of the ladies that wanted to come delivers lunches to the elderly...so she couldn't be here at noon.   Anyway...there were 5 ladies present today!!  I started out by telling a little about myself and giving my testimony.  Then our study was about who Jesus Christ is and His deity.  Next week it will be more personal....Who Jesus Christ is to me personally....  They seemed to enjoy it and hopefully more will come as time goes by.    One of the ladies is really absorbing everything (at church and again today) and we know the Lord is speaking to her.  I believe she will get saved soon.

They say a storm is heading our way this weekend and the temperature is going to be extremely cold (way below zero).  Pray that it won't hinder our services Sunday.

 Love and prayers,  Sis. Sheri

This morning we had 18 in services and then 11 tonight.  Tex was able to come this morning which were thankful for.  Please continue to pray for his spiritual condition.  There is one Mother that shared with Doyle this evening how that she is trying to raise her children to know the Lord and how she prays on her way to work.  This was a real blessing!!   Her husband doesn't come and from what we hear drinks alot...This week Doyle is going to go visit him and some of the other husbands of the women that come.  I also was able to pick up one young girl this evening that had come a couple times before.  During class tonight she said to me, "My mother knows your name.  When you came to pick me up..she ask me "Is that Sheri?"   So I am going to go visit that mother this week to introduce myself.  There are at least 3 other children in that family.

Before I sign off, I just want to share one other blessing with you.  Our son, Keith, told us this week that around the middle of July we were going to have another Grandchild!!!    That was a surprise but wonderful news.  Keith, Jennifer and Paige are very excited!!  They are praying that maybe the Lord would allow us to have a Grandson this time.  As long as the baby is healthy, we don't care whether it's another girl or a boy.

Thanks again for all your love and prayers.      Will post more later this week.               Sis. Sheri
