Today was a good day with 18 in attendance this morning and 14 this evening.  The Lord is working on the hearts of some of the women that come and we are praying that very soon they will accept Christ as their Savior.  I have been praying about having a Bible Study for the women 1 morning a week and Lord willing, our first one will be this Thursday morning.  Please make this a matter of prayer.  I am going to be using some literature from our home church that will start with the basic teachings of Salvation.  Doyle has been preaching on Salvation and the Bible Study will give more time to teach them about how they can be saved.

Thank you for your love, prayers and support.           Sis. Sheri

                                       He Said

They May take Him out of my hands,

but they can't take Him out of my heart,

For "He Said" that He would never depart.

"He Said" He would be my comfort and Guide

For in my heart He said He would always abide.

"He Said" He would always be my friend,

And that He  would be back to get me in the end.

Thank God for Jesus dying on tree,

Because of that "He Said" I could be free.

I thank Jesus Christ for hanging on the tree one day,

Because of that "He Said' for my sins I will not have to pay.

Because of Jesus Christ I will never have to die,

For on Him "He Said" I would only cry.

"He Said" whosoever shall drink of this water shall never thirst

If in our hearts we will only put Him first.

"He Said" that My sheep know My voice,

If we will always make Him our choice.

"He Said" that He will give us of His peace,

If He that lives in our heart we would release.

"He Said" that He would be back someday

To take me to Heaven with Him to stay.

In our morning service we had 13 in attendance and then this evening we had 11.   To some that may not seem like many, but we are excited to see some come faithfully each week.  I look at the kids that come each week and think...They are the future of this reservation, if we can reach them now, they will not turn out like the generation that is here now.   Through alot of prayers and consistency in our lives, they can be reached for Christ and He will make the difference.

Our week has been very busy with trying to get the rest of the boxes distributed.  Tex has also gone back to the hospital so we have made a couple trips there to visit him.  He has pneumonia along with alot of other complications.  Keep him in your prayers.  Yesterday when we left Cannon Ball to go to Bismarck it was snowing and windy but by the time we got to the hospital the snow had stopped.  We were there a very short time and when we left it was really snowing!!  It took us a little longer to get home but the Lord watched over us.  I am a little "apprehensive" when traveling the road between here and Bismarck after dark because there are sooo many deer along the way and you never know when one is going to run out in front of you.  So that along with the snow yesterday had me on "pins and needles" all the way home!!!

We have been really busy the past couple days sorting through all the boxes and distributing things out.  It is such a blessing to be able to give things to those in need.   I do want to leave one special prayer request with you.....Tex is not doing very well at all at home.  The place on his neck where the cancer is has been all swollen up and then last night Marie said it burst open and infection drained out.  He refuses to let her call the Dr.  I tried to talk her into at least calling Home Health so they would come and clean up the incision site and maybe they could talk him into going to the Dr.  He said he knows if Marie calls the Dr. that they will put him back into the hospital and he doesn't want to go back there.    Please say a special prayer for Tex and Marie.  Things just don't look very good for him right now and we are very concerned about him.

 Love and prayers,        Sis. Sheri

Today was a very busy day.  We had a total of 21 this morning....12 kids and 9 adults!!!  Praise the Lord.  We had 2 adults and 2 kids that were here for the first time.  This evening we had 14 here..6 adults and 8 kids.    The kids are really keepin me busy....I am praying that the Lord will hurry up and send me some help!!!!!  I love every minute of it but on Sunday night I am really beat!!!   Doyle is having really good liberty to preach and know the Lord is speaking to some of the people so please keep praying for them.    Tex was able to come this morning and seemed to really enjoy but was unable to come tonight....but Marie still came.

This will be a busy week as we begin to sort through the boxes that came on the truck and distribute it out to the ones in need.  It will be such a blessing to be able to give out the things provided to those that need them.

Beginning in Dec. I am going to start a Ladies Bible Study so please keep that in your prayers.  The Ladies seem excited about it and I hope that it will help draw more ladies in and we can ban together and pray for our community and see some saved very soon!!

Love and Prayers,       Sis. Sheri

Praise the Lord....our carpet arrived safely this afternoon along with 70+ boxes from candy to clothes to household items!!  Doyle had asked 2 men from the village if they would help unload the carpet...one showed up but other didn't.  Well...a group of guys came by (whether by chance or by curiosity when they saw the Semi truck pull through the village) and they stopped and helped unload the carpet and all the boxes which was a real blessing!!  One of them asked me where we were from and why we came here.  He acted surprised when I told him we came here to start the church and when they left he said he was going to bring his kids to church.  Pray that he will.   Then after they all left...one of them sorta lagged behind and in a few minutes he knocked on our door and ask if he could come in and get warm.  Of course we said yes...and I offered him a Sloppy Joe and some cake.  He ate...talked for quite a few minutes and then Doyle took him home.  When Doyle asked him about his salvation he said he was saved and that his Granddad used to Pastor a church and he went all the time but had not been to church since the 1980's.  Pray that he will come...he doesn't have a vehicle so Doyle came him our phone number and offered to pick him up.   We are thankful for every opportunity to witness and invite others to church.   Looking for a good day tomorrow.

Thanks for those who sent things on the truck....we really appreciate it.  I did take 2-3 photo's of the truck and Bro. Dennis (the driver) and will post them tomorrow.

We made it back from Fargo just fine and it was a very pleasant trip.  I checked on Tex and Marie this morning and she said they are doing just fine.  He has to be fed through an IV 18 hours each day that goes directly into his stomach.   Marie is going to have her hands full taking care of him so please pray for her.   On the way to Fargo we stopped in Jamestown at the National Buffalo Ranch and I saw a Live White Buffalo.  It was too far away to get a picture.  Then on the way home within 30 miles from home in a 15 mile stretch we saw 38 deer!!  From the fawns all the way up to the bucks......so all you Deer hunters better head up this way...deer season has just opened up in North Dakota!!!!

Thanks for all your prayers while we traveled to and from Fargo.        Sis. Sheri
