Marie called this evening all excited because she had gotten a call from the Doctor where Tex is and was informed that Tex could come home next weekend!!  He will be coming home with a feeding tube (the cancer is in his throat) and so she has to go to Fargo next Friday and spend a couple days training on how to take care of him...then they will release him.  Marie is very excited that he is finally coming home.  We had given her 4 Gospel CD's a few days ago and she said when she told Tex about them he said he wanted to hear them too.   Not sure whether Tex has been saved or not...so please keep him in prayer....especially in his battle against cancer.  I think he has to go back to the hospital in Fargo after Christmas for more Radiation treatments.  Pray that during this time at home, if he is not saved...that He will accept Christ as his Savior.

We met Marie's granddaughter and her husband today.  Their daughters have come to Sunday School a couple times.  Invited them to come Sunday so pray that they will.

On Thursday, Marie and I are planning on visiting 2 of her friends in Solen.  Marie has really been a blessing.  She invites all her friends and relatives to church and as I said before...she is faithful to all our services.  It is such a joy to hear her testimony as she tells of how she "gave her heart to the Lord" and wants to serve Him.   Pray for us as we go visit her 2 friends....both of them drink and need the Lord.

Praising the Lord for His Wonderful Grace and Goodness to Us............Sis. Sheri

Yesterday was VERY windy and cold.  But even in the cold and wind we still had 12 yesterday morning and 7 last night.  In Sunday School I am working with the kids on how to respect and take care of their Bibles along with how to find things in the Bible.  I have Bible drills by calling out the just the Book..no chapter or verse.  The first week they had no clue how  to find anything!!   But they are coming along really good and we will soon be able to add Chapters and verses to the books.  We are also memorizing the books of the Bible adding 5 each week.  Yesterday morning I introduced The Ten Commandments to them and was surprised to find out they had on comprehension of what the word "sin" even meant.  So....we are really starting from "scratch" and enjoying every moment!!!

An update on Connie Nixon, our Missionary friend that Hip Replacement Surgery.  Her surgery was last Tuesday and while doing surgery they found a couple other problems and were able to correct those also.  We visited her Saturday and she is doing very well and will go to Rehab possibly today.  Thank You so much for your prayers on her behalf.

A couple prayer requests.  Every Sunday I have to pick kids up in my car...yesterday morning I had 8 all piled on top of each other in the pack of my car.   Each house I go to I never know how many will come out to get in the car....sometimes it's 4-6..sometimes just 1 or 2.   We really need a Van to pick them up in.  Then we could stop at even more houses and have more room. It is such a joy to see the smiles on their faces because I am there to pick them up for church!!!  Even as cold as it was yesterday morning they came with no coats, no socks, shorts, and some eating their breakfast which was just a cracker!!!  Please make our Church Transportation a matter of prayer.

Along with more children...we definitely are going to need some more help!!   Please pray that the Lord will lay it on someones heart to come help us!!!!

I added a Album to our Picasa website titled "New Life Baptist Mission"...there is one picture on there of our church service on October 19th.  If you haven't already seen it....take a look.  I will be adding more pictures as time goes on.  This album will consist of just Pictures we take during services and special things we will be having.  We have taken pictures of just the children but am reluctant to put them on the website without the parent's permission.

Thanks for all your love, prayers and support.          The Hall's

Hi Everyone, this is Kevin.  To my knowledge, the problem is with the "Contact Us" page.  I am in the process of finding out why it is not working as it should.  Until we resolve the problem, please be sure to send email directly to Doyle and Sheri.  The following email addresses for Doyle and Sheri should be working without any problems:

halls@newlifebaptistmission.org
sheri@newlifebaptistmission.org
doyle@newlifebaptistmission.org

Please, if you have any problems with the 3 addresses listed above, please let us know!

Several people have told us they have sent us eMails....but we haven't gotten them.  If you have sent us an eMail with no response from us...it's because we didn't receive it!!   Our Computer Technologist, Kevin Daves, is working on this problem for us.  We wouldn't want anyone to think we just weren't answering our eMails!!!! But in the meantime....if you want to eMail us you can do so through our alternative address which is www.Liberty1Skye@yahoo.com and we will be sure to respond!!  Please give your FIRST message a title such as "NewLife BaptistMissionEmail" or something of that sort just in case your message goes into my spam folder.....I would need to be able to recognize your first message in some way so I would open it (I don't open Spam unless I Know what it is).     We are sorry if you've eMailed us without response....please try again!!      Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support.

This morning Bro. Hobert and Sis. Edna headed back to Georgia.  We had such a good time with them and sure did hate to see them go.  I hope and pray their visit here left a lasting impression on their hearts...we know the people in the Sunday services loved them!!   I am sure the kids in SS class will be asking about them and how they are.    We are so Thankful God has given us such good friends, a wonderful home church family back in Georgia and wonderful supporters like all of you!!!  Thank you once again for all your love and prayers.             Sis. Today, Oct. 19th, we had 18 in SS & our morning service and this evening a total of 14!!   It was such a blessing to have Bro. Hobert and Sis. Edna here and the kids loved Ms. Edna as she helped out in SS.  This evening they both gave their testimony of it was such a joy to see how attentive even the children were!!!   We have decided that we are just going to keep the Pankey's!!!   I told them the brown trailer has been claimed for them and we have named it "Pankey's Palace" (for those of you that have seen it...you'll enjoy that one!!!)    On Saturday we did manage to do a little sightseeing and went for a drive down the "Enchanted Highway".  Pictures  are posted in our Picasa photos.  While on the drive, Ms. Edna entertained us by riding a Grasshopper!!!!  Make sure you ask her about it when she gets home...it was a sight to see!!!!

Thank you so much to the 2 Pastor's that provided the heaters!!  The church was so nice and warm this morning.  What a blessing.   Doyle and Bro. Hobert also got our Outdoor sign put up.  Pictures of the sign and the installed heaters are in Picasa under "Our House, Construction."      We are so Thankful for all that God has done, is doing and is going to do here in Cannon Ball and we appreciate all your love, prayers and support.   We love you.

Bro. Hobert and Sis. Edna arrived safely yesterday afternoon.  We were so glad to see them.  Sis. Edna is the "1st" lady visitor from back home so I was VERY excited to see her!!   Today we will go to Bismarck to get what else is needed for Doyle and Bro. Hobert to get the heaters connected and to get a few groceries.  So thankful for all the blessings the Lord is bestowing upon us!!    I need to leave one special prayer request....we met a missionary couple that live above Bismarck (have been there for about 30 years) a couple weeks ago (they gave us 39 folding metal chairs!!) and she is having a Hip replacement done on Tuesday.  Doctors have said it is a High Risk surgery for her because of other health conditions...so please keep her in your prayers..her name is Connie Nixon.  We will go visit her in the hospital after the surgery and will let you know how it went.          Love and prayers,        Sis. Sheri

Praise the Lord.....we have 2 Gas propane heaters on the way!!!  God is soooo good to us.  The heaters are being delivered to Dalton today and Bro. Hobart and Sis. Edna are coming up and bringing the heaters with them.   Please pray for their safety as they travel.   We are excited that they are coming to visit.

It was 28 degrees this morning but is supposed to warm up to 60 today (a Heat wave!!!).   Thank the Lord for warm weather!!  Doyle is outside now digging the holes for our sign so we can get it up while it's warm enough to work outside.

Thanks for all your prayers and support.  We love all of you!!    Sis. Sheri

The Native Americans have been saying we will be getting snow this coming week.  I have been checking on weather.com each day and could not see any snow anywhere near us.   Then today our forecast said tomorrow evenings predictions are for rain and snow flurries!!   I told Doyle.."Look, they were right!"   TheNative Americans  go by the way the clouds look and other signs they watch.    I don't think we'll get a "snow storm"  and the flurries are supposed to be during the night hours.   But....winter seems to be getting here sooner this year.  Last year they said it was January before they saw any snow.   Temperatures will be in the upper 40's to low 50's during the day and lows at night in the 30's and upper 20's.     My kids have all asked me..."Mom, are you ready for winter?"   Well.....not sure if I am...but whether I am or not...it's just around the corner!!!!      Doyle had trouble lighting our furnace yesterday because it was so windy that the draft kept blowing out the lighter before it reached the pilot light....but today the wind had calmed down and we got it lit...Praise the Lord for Daily blessings!!!!!
